Delhi Budget: A Milestone Towards a Developed Delhi

Chandni Chowk MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal has termed the Delhi Government’s Budget 2025-26 as balanced, public welfare-oriented, and development-driven. This budget is inclusive, taking into account the needs of all sections of society. It will play a crucial role in taking Delhi’s economic progress to new heights.

Welcoming the budget, Shri Khandelwal said, “The Delhi Government has presented a well-balanced budget, focusing on trade, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social welfare. New provisions have been introduced to empower trade and industries, which will benefit Delhi’s traders and entrepreneurs.”

Shri Khandelwal highlighted that the announcement of new policies to promote trade and industry, along with the formation of a Traders Welfare Board, will encourage business growth and ease trade operations in Delhi. He further stated that the large allocation for infrastructure development, strong measures for education and healthcare improvements, and new projects to strengthen the transport system will accelerate Delhi’s development. The allocation of funds for the cleaning of the Yamuna River is a significant step towards fulfilling the commitment to restoring the river’s cleanliness.

Shri Khandelwal further added, “This budget will bring new energy to Delhi’s business community. With the government focusing on trade reforms, business opportunities will expand, and the economy will be strengthened. We hope that the government will maintain continuous dialogue with the business community and prioritize traders’ needs.
